"Good people, frustrating process Sarah Salmond-Collins and the team at the George Hernandez Agency are genuinely great to work with — responsive, knowledgeable, and clearly focused on the customer. My experience with them directly has been nothing but positive. Unfortunately, what happens after the broker submits a request is a different story. I recently needed to swap a vehicle on one of my two auto policies — remove an old car, add a new one, and make sure both changes landed on the correct policy. Simple enough in concept, but the execution took days and went sideways. After a couple of days with no changes made, I followed up. I was told that underwriting processes requests on a first-come, first-served basis — which, fair enough, but the timeline felt unreasonable. Then on day three, the new car was removed from the wrong policy it had been mistakenly placed on, but still wasn't added to the right one, and the old car remained. The new car effectively just disappeared from my coverage for a period. I have auto and homeowners policies with State Farm, and I don't make changes often. This experience made me wonder: if a straightforward vehicle swap takes this much back-and-forth, how will a claim be handled once it leaves the broker's hands? That's a real question I'm sitting with. The agency itself earns five stars. The backend operations are what bring this rating down. Hoping day four brings a resolution."
